AJ Studio designs and ships focused software for real industries — built, not specced. The flagship, MiSuite, is point-of-sale for Australian beauty salons: four apps and a booking page that run a shop's whole day. HoopBoard and MedSolutions follow it, in that order.
How AJ Studio works
Vertical software is usually functional and forgettable. Design quality is the feature that wins the room — and then keeps the customer.
Software shaped to how a business actually runs — its tax, its receipts, its privacy obligations — rather than a generic template with a local flag on it.
One product shipped properly beats three half-built. The next thing waits until this one is earning — which is why the roadmap below is sequenced, not parallel.
The work

Runs entirely on the tablet — no account, no setup, no signal needed. Score, game and shot clock, fouls, timeouts, possession. Free to start; Pro adds the sound pack, celebration animations and per-player stats.
An early exploration. The regulatory groundwork comes before a line of product code — defining wellness-versus-clinical scope and confirming TGA classification. Privacy-first by design, because health data has to be.
The studio
Run by William Ngo, a Sydney product builder with 15+ years in digital project management and web production. Small by design: the same hands shape the strategy, the interface and the code — which is exactly why the details hold together.
Every product carries its own name and a "by AJ Studio" signature. The shared visual system does the coherence work, so each app is free to be its own thing.
